About Me: A Hertfordshire Psychotherapist

I have over 25 years experience working as a Psychotherapist and Counsellor in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. I trained at The Tavistock Clinic, the NAS Lorna Wing Centre and University College London. I am qualified in autism diagnostic assessments for children and adults. Prior to this I worked as an Art Teacher in mainstream and special schools. I work with individuals and families with a range of emotional, behavioral, relationship and social communication difficulties. In addition to this I specialize in work with children and teenagers on the autistic spectrum using interventions tailored to their individual needs. See my Services page.

I have close connections across Hertfordshire with professionals within mental health, speech and language services, children’s services, the Communications Disorders Team, education and independent services.

Professional accreditation

I am a full member of The Association of Child Psychotherapists.

I maintain the highest professional and ethical standards in line with the ACP code of ethics and professional conduct.

My Autism qualifications include the ADOS and the 3Di

I am a registered practitioner with the NAS

I am CRB checked.

I regularly attend professional development workshops and conferences.
