About Me: A Hertfordshire Psychotherapist

I have over 25 years experience working as a Psychotherapist in Mental Health. I trained at The Tavistock Clinic, the NAS Lorna Wing Centre and University College London. I am qualified in autism diagnostic assessments for children and adults. Prior to this I worked as an Art Teacher in mainstream and special schools. I work with individuals and families with a range of emotional, behavioral, relationship and social communication difficulties. In addition to this I specialize in work with children and teenagers on the autistic spectrum using interventions tailored to their individual needs. See my Services page.

I have participated in developing an NHS autism diagnostic pathway in Hertfordshire and have close connections with the Communications Disorders Team, Specialist Advisory Teachers, Speech and language services, CAMHS and Education Services.

Professional accreditation

I am a full member of The Association of Child Psychotherapists.

I maintain the highest professional and ethical standards in line with the ACP code of ethics and professional conduct.

My Autism qualifications include the DISCO, ADOS and the 3Di

I am a registered practitioner with the NAS

I am CRB checked.

I regularly attend professional development workshops and conferences.
